Rainwater Harvesting System, Taipei, Taiwan.
The silt up was an impending and unsolved problem for many reservoirs in Taiwan. The water supplies from the reservoirs were sometimes insufficient to fulfill the needs of the residence in Taipei during drought season. To solve the problem, rainwater harvesting system were installed. The intercepting drain and pipes were installed to collect rainwater, and the rainwater harvesting tanks were installed underground to save space. The rainwater harvesting system makes better use of the rainwater. It is both ecological and economic solution to the impending problem.
